...Remember when I said I was running out of ideas for these? I lied. I so totally lied.
Drooble - Found mainly in dark, dingy swamplands, Droobles are covered with a thick mud-like goo that allows them to blend in perfectly with their surroundings. Perhaps because of their habitat, these beasties always seem to have a gloomy, dreary outlook on life, and are very rarely seen smiling or enjoying anything at all. Though a few people find their constant sad expression rather endearing, most find that simply having a Drooble somewhere nearby is enough to make even the most perfect sunny day feel completely dull and depressing.
Pendulire - These ghastly looking beasts frequent graveyards and other lonely areas, and until recently were thought to be only a myth by most. According to popular folklore, the appearance of a Pendulire usually precedes some terrible tragedy, with the giant watch the beast carries constantly ticking down the seconds to said tragedy. However, it's generally thought that the Pendulire itself is rather harmless, despite its ghoulish appearance and the eerie clanking sounds it makes as it floats about. No one is quite sure where these beasts originated, but some think that they are the souls of deceased beasties that were mistreated by their human companions in life.
Meemal - Meemals live in the jungles and plains of the tropical countries, and have become a highly important part of life in those areas, both for humans and other beasties. Powerful and fleet-footed, Meemals make idea pack animals, if one has the patience to train one to do so. Though some humans do raise Meemals on farms, it's the Grarninu who have truly tamed these beasts, and employ them for almost every task imaginable. In return, the Meemals are offered full protection from their natural predators, as to be honest these beasties are a bit too dim-witted to protect themselves very well.
Grarninu - A highly advanced warlike race from the tropics, Grarninu are considered one of the oldest and most successful of all beastie species. Their intelligence is on par with that of humans, though nobody has quite been able to decipher their complex written and spoken language. The Grarninu live side by side with the native Meemal population, and are the only known beast that has actually managed to tame and domesticate another beastie species. These beasts are a proud and noble race, and wear the brightly decorated beaks of fallen Meemals on their heads, the specific colors and patterns of which denote things such as social status, which village the Grarninu belongs to, and so on.
Enigato - The elegant, mysterious Enigato is a highly evolved beast that has mastered powers of telepathy and telekinesis, among others. Some say that the glowing orb the beast always holds between its two tails is the source of its mental powers, but since these beasts will fiercely attack anyone who dares to try and touch this orb, there are few who are brave enough to test this theory fully. The Enigato's aloof, proud nature and clean habits have made it a wildly popular pet among wealthy women, though most other people find these beasts far too fussy and demanding to keep around the house for long.
Poor Drooble...I'd hug it, but this is my good sweatshirt
The Meemal kinda reminds me of chocobos from Final Fantasy... Well, the description anyway.
These are yet another bunch of great designs.
