1) I'M STILL ALIVE

2) I'm doing great! The new job is going well, I'm adjusting nicely enough to this weird new town I've never been in before I moved here, only bad thing is the weather... way colder up here than it was down south

3) NEW COMPUTER FINALLY. Unfortunately I still don't have regular internet access.  Due to... things. But I'm planning on it, probably around the beginning of January or so.

For reasons I'm sure none of you care about, I'm moving out of the house I've lived in for about a year and finally getting a place of my own for the first time in ages! Which is for the most part a very good thing - I'm going to what I feel is a much nicer area, getting a job I'm actually confident that I *won't completely hate*, and best of all finally getting away from my crazy ass housemates.

The problem is that my personal laptop was 1) completely wiped out and 2) stolen last year (yes, someone stole a laptop that doesn't work. Joke's on them!), and the computer I've been using since then is acutally my housemate's, so I obviously can't take it with me. I still have my "backup" laptop (which has SAI and everything on it so that's what I've been doing all my art on lately) but it's about ten years old and the wi-fi only barely functions most of the time. I'm too damn broke to get a new compy right now (or hell, even get internet in my new apartment for at least a month or two) so unfortunately, I'm probably going to end up dropping off the face of the tubes for a while.

I'll still be able to read/reply to comments since I can get dA on my phone, but naturally submissions are going to be on hold for a while until I get the whole mess sorted out. Sorry! I do want to finish the Alphabestiary project as soon as possible, and I'll see if I can manage to crank out the rest of the series during the downtime.

Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone ended up getting worried!

If I were to (hypothetically) take comissions
1. would anyone actually be interested and
2. what do you think would be reasonable pricing

Now, before anyone goes "omg ur stupid they're obviously fake" there are a couple of things that have me convinced, for now, that they're real:

1) Nintendo has apparently been going around and making fansites take the list down, just like they did when the official sprites got leaked back in September;  
2) Just a few hours AFTER the list appeared, Nintendo updated their official site, confirming quite a few of the leaked names as real;
3) We've had really dodgy-looking leaks before that turned out to be true.  Remember when those blurry pictures of the starter evolutions came out and everyone assumed they were fake?  Yeah.

Now my dumb opinions because I know you all care about them SO MUCH:

- Best ones IMO: Roggenrola, Lillipup, Krookodile, Sigilyph, Whimsicott, Trubbish, Garbodor, Galvantula, Carracosta, MANDIBUZZ (seriously that one is awesome eee)

- Foongus and Amoongus make me giggle :^D  Same with Unfezant, even though I know a lot of people despise that one.  Feh, haters.

- Kind of odd that Munna, Musharna, Emboar, Swanna and Darumakka are the ONLY non-legendaries to keep their Japanese names.  I definitely thought Ranculus, Chillarmy and Chillacino would keep theirs...

- Throh and Sawk are... kind of dumb, but I don't care for the Pokemon themselves either so whatever.

- The Dark/Dragon trio's names are pretty clever

- Scraggy and Scrafty are simple, but cute.  Good names for what are probably my fav GenV pokeys.

- I think everyone saw 'Pignite' coming a mile away.  I'm surprised I didn't guess 'Purrloin' for Choroneko, that's the most obvious pun ever

- I can't even figure out how to pronounce Conkeldurr, Cofagrigus or Almomomola :/

- I miss Ranculus already ;_;  That was the one I was really, REALLY hoping would keep its Japanese name.  Reuniclus is... alright, but just doesn't have the same ring to it

...besides, if they ain't real, we've only got less than two months to go anyway.  *shrug*

ones I am already in love with: the drippy nosed polar bear, the adorable derpy dark/dragon one, the psychic type Nazca bird one, the GHOST CANDLE THINGS, those utterly bizarre but awesome ice type sundae cone things, the big poison centepede-dragon, the archaeopteryx, THAT FREAKING WEIRD TRASH BAG COMPOST HEAP ONE, the hilarious dark/fighting lizards, the crazy cactus, the cute music-note normal/psychic legendary, that weird little frog, the first stage of the hermit crab (I have no idea wtf its evolution is though o_O)

I know, I'm going to be in a SERIOUS minority here, but... I honestly really, really love how most of these are so damn cartoony and wacky looking compared to previous gens.  less generic grr scary monster type things or cute pink rodenty things, more of those endearingly weird ones that always end up being my favorites.  The majority of them just have SO much personality and character, it's awesome.

My five-year-old tablet finally died on me (well, just the pen I guess, since the mouse is still working) and I really have no way to afford a replacement pen right now.

So I'm slowwwlly getting myself used to traditional art for now, but I'm a derp and can't figure out how to scan things without killing the colors (that and the paper in my favorite sketchpad is bigger than my scanner bed D: D: D: )

thing is I used to draw with a mouse for YEARS and now I can barely even make a circle with one, wtf
